NEW COLLECTIVE FOR WOMEN PHOTOGRAPHERS
When I was a young girl, I watched a lot of movies. While men were portrayed as virile,
sexy women were referred to as Real Tomatoes. Marilyn Monroe was often referred to as a Tomato.
I decided that when I grew up, I wanted to be a Real Tomato so much that I ate tomatoes every day. This ritual has continued into my adult life. A man could not call a woman a Tomato today without controversy.
However, I still fantasize about being the fruit that Hollywood desired.
